Country to city, that was the theme of Virginia and Chris's modern English summer wedding day.​ We started the day at Virginia's beautiful childhood home in Surrey where she got ready with her three sisters and immediate family. From the early hours of the morning, the weather was absolutely glorious - rare for England! After some family photos in the warm, sunny garden, we hopped on the the train to London and made our way to the iconic Gherkin, where the bride and groom had their ceremony.

        Virginia wore a stunning yet simple House of CB gown, which when perfectly with modern interior of the Gherkin's top floor event space. After their ceremony and champagne reception with guests, we hopped in a (very patient) black cab and buzzed all around London to get the most perfect golden hour shots.

        The modern city theme continued into the reception, which was held at the Sun Street Hotel in Shoreditch. Perhaps the best detail of all was the vintage ruffle heart cake. The guests danced late into the evening, thanks to the incredibly talented Saxophonist, Alex Rimell, and were pleased when some midnight pizza appeared!
