Autumnal English Wedding in Buckinghamshire
Updated: Mar 1
A truly quintessential english wedding in a church behind an 15th century pub.
Despite having lived in the UK for the past 4 years, the New Yorker inside me still gets a Disneyland level of excited whenever I see a tiny english town off a little country lane with pubs older than my country. Much to my boyfriend's annoyance, I apparently subconsciously squeal "omg it's so cute" continuously every time we are driving through the country. And I think the Kings Arms Hotel in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, is the most quintessential english pub in the most quintessential english town I have ever seen. Fun facts about the venue - Four Weddings and a Funeral was filmed at here and Oliver Cromwell often spent the night.

Fabio and Yolanda were initially married at their luxury destination wedding in Portugal, Fabio's home country. Five years later, this wonderful couple decided to renew their vows in the rustic church hall behind the pub. I had the honour of documenting their intimate vow renewal.
This weekend was the absolute height of autumn weather - a little bit chilly, golden sunshine, and shockingly bright foliage. The decor was kept to a minimum as to not take away from the historic venue and stunning surroundings. It was the perfect setting for me to capture emotional day with fine art wedding photography.
Yolanda wore not one, but two handmade wedding gowns by The Boho Bride, because why not! The Boho Bride's wedding gown designs are made to order, bespoke, and feature a combination of bohemian and simplistic designs. I made it my mission to capture all the little details of this day as aesthetically as possible.
Looking through the photos from this day remind me why I love being a creative wedding photographer and also remind me to get out of London a little bit more often to enjoy nature!
Hopefully these romantic wedding photos give you a little bit of inspiration for your autumnal english wedding!
