Kat and Tim are a love story classic. American girl meets English boy, and the rest is history. These two met and fell in love in Boston when Tim moved over for work, but decided to have their destination wedding in London. It meant that all of Tim's family could join, and the state-side guests could have an excuse for a fabulous weekend away in London.

I had several weddings this summer where I photographed both the engagement session and wedding. As I've mentioned previously on here, it's really special for me to be present for two such important events, and it made going into Kat and Tim's wedding a little extra fun because we had already had such a good time during their engagement session. Back to the wedding. Kat being an interior designer, I had high expectations for this wedding! And it certainly did not dissapoint. Everything about it was cool, sleek, and minimalist. Their venue choice of the Buffini Chao Deck at the National Theatre served as the perfect blank canvas for black and white modern decor.

Kat also selected some outstanding suppliers that I had recommended to her. The first being Emily Clare for makeup, and the second So Blooming Beautiful for florals. And of course, Hayley at Amae Events flawlessly brought all the final details together at the last moment.

While we were aiming for a golden hour bride and groom photo session, we may or may not have missed it due to some groomsmen speeches running over (whoops). However, I'm THRILLED that we did, because we instead achieved this incredibly whimsical and romantic twilight session on the bridge over looking all the London landmarks.
