Witchy Romance in the Cotswolds, Andy & Aurora's Storm-Kissed Wedding

Andy and Aurora left the U.S. behind for a destination wedding in the English countryside, choosing the ivy-draped Cornwell Manor as the setting for a day that was equal parts moody, modern, and unmistakably them. Tucked deep in the Cotswolds, the manor’s soft grandeur and weathered charm made the perfect backdrop for a celebration that leaned into atmosphere and intention over tradition.

From the start, Aurora brought cool bride vibes. Wearing black to the rehearsal dinner and a effortlessly unique Danielle Frankel gown to the wedding, it was alternative while still being chic.  The florals by Vervain Flowers echoed that same energy: wild, textural arrangements full of deep burgundy tones, fresh blackberries, and witchy, sculptural branches that gave everything a slightly otherworldly edge. A serpentine aisle wound through the garden, setting the tone for a ceremony that felt immersive and grounded in the landscape.

The storm rolled in early and never really let up — but instead of disrupting the day, it heightened everything. The skies stayed dark and dramatic, thunder echoing in the distance, the air heavy with the scent of rain and earth. Guests gathered under umbrellas, wrapped in layers, while the manor glowed softly behind them. It felt cinematic, almost surreal — like stepping into a perfectly composed frame.

Dinner was held in a candlelit marquee, where the storm outside only made the space feel warmer, more intimate. As the evening unfolded, Aurora changed into a Monique Lhuillier mini dress, and the energy shifted again. The party kicked off — bold, high-energy, and full of life — closing out the night with the same edge and spirit that defined the whole weekend.

This was a wedding that embraced contrast: soft and strong, elegant and untamed, timeless and entirely of the moment.
