My first destination wedding of 2022 started off with a bang at the stunningly luxurious Luttrellstown Castle just outside of Dublin, Ireland. Maria and Matt's wedding was the epitome of elegance and tradition, resulting in some beautiful fine-art wedding photography. ​

        Arriving early at the venue, I wandered through the rooms and grounds to capture the quiet before the festivities began. Not only did the wedding reception take place at Luttrellstown Castle, but so did the bridal prep and morning activities. The castle was absolute magic to photograph, filled with hidden rooms and libraries, and encased in the stunning light pouring through the paned windows.

        By late afternoon, we were off to a cathedral in the heart of Dublin for a traditional catholic ceremony, accompanied by a string quartet who masterfully played Vivaldi's , The Four Seasons. Towards the end of the ceremony, the afternoon light bled through the stained glass windows, resulting in some wonderfully moody images.

       Golden hour hit just as the guests were trickling back to Luttrellstown Castle for cocktail hour. After formal group portraits, the fabulous couple and I snuck off for some golden hour wedding photography shots in the gardens behind the castle. 

​

       As the sun fully set, the candelabras were lit and the champagne began to flow. The elegant guests, head to toe in black tie, settled in for a long and joyous evening of speeches, dancing, and cake! This wedding was truly a photographer's dream to be a part of.
